Fundraising has become one of my favorite things and least favorite things to do. Favorite because I love seeing how God provides, and least favorite because it is so stressful.

I have many fundraisers in the works, many of which I’m really excited about.

Many people have asked me how they can get involved to make this trip possible. As of now I’m working on 4 big fundraisers.

Shirts - The shirts are chocolate brown and say “HOPE” surrounded by 2 Corinthians 10:15-16 which says, “We hope that your faith will grow so that the boundaries of our work among you will be extended. Then we will be able to go and preach the Good News in other places far beyond you, where no one else is working.”  Each shirt costs $20.  I am able to mail them if I don’t see you regularly. I do, however, ask that if I have to mail shirts you include $2 to help cover that cost. I need all money before I can order the shirts. You can send money to:

Bracelets – In the next couple of weeks I’m going to be selling bracelets through Threads of Hope. This is actually one of my favorite fundraisers so far because not only does your purchase help me, but it also helps girls in the Philippines who make this bracelets support their families. These bracelets are what most people consider friendship bracelets. I’m selling each one for $2 each, or 3 for $5. I’m also looking for people who are willing to help me sell them. Next week 1,000 bracelets will be coming in and I would love to sell every single one.

A Benefit Dinner – Though I’ll still working out all the details on this one, it is in the works. The event will be filled with fun, laughter and food. Right now I’m looking for people who are willing to share their talents such as singing, dancing, skits, ect. And also I’m looking for people to donate items for a silent action.  I hope to have this in April or May.

Yard Sale - We are still in the beginning stages of this fundraiser as well.  Right now I’m looking for people who are willing to donate in order to make this happen. Like I said earlier, I’m still working on this fundraiser;  but I’m hoping to be able to do this in June.

Fundraising has been overwhelming at moments; but I know Christ has an amazing plan to raise $11,900. With Him all things are possible!!!
